It's fun, it's rewarding, and it's something that Trent and I can do together. It's also the only sport I know where you can snack at Pie in the Sky during a training session. |

Running off the bike does not seem to bother me too much - I always seem to run out of T2 like a bat out of hell! |
| Proudest moment in sport |
Receiving an IM medal made of coconut shell, and a finishers t-shirt sized for a clydesdale. I survived Ironman China 2009, which was my first IM race. My first half marathon also comes to mind, I ran this with Alison and our time exceeded our expectations. That was a great feeling! |

2nd place in my agegroup in IM China. A very long day, but a got a trophy as a reward. |

I enjoy setting big goals and training with my friends to achieve them. |
| Your words of wisdom |
My latest agreement (with myself) is that if I train hard, and tick off every session I get to have pizza at the end of the week. Steve Edwards always helps me celebrate! |
