| Why triathlon? |
Triathlon is the best test of a person's character, and ability to handle and cope with the unexpected. It has allowed me to develop the mental stamina to cope with almost anything that could be thrown at me in the future. Plus - it keeps me fit, which keeps me a lightweight and therefore don't spend/waste all my money on alcohol! |

| Your words of wisdom |
Pain is weakness leaving the body!
Also focus on the things only you can control - your race nutrition, strategy, training and preparation - everything else will handle itself. Don't sweat the things that can't be controlled like strong winds on the bike, rain etc. cause you're not the only one who has to do it, everyone else has to do it as well!
Most importantly - just enjoy yourself! |
